Patagonia National Park

Patagonia National Park is located in the south of Chile between Lago Jeinimeni National Reserve and Lago Cochrane Reserve. The national park is around 523.57 square miles

The primary feature of the park is the Chacabuco Valley. The national park was created by combining five separate parks which is why the park has an ecosystem of grassland, forest, and wetland. In some parts of the park the landscape changes drastically as the elevation changes and the wildlife in the park varies depending on the environment. Armadillos, cougar, mara, tuco-tuco, and the gray fox are found in the grasslands and some other animals in the park include deer, red fox, and some bird species like the andean condor, the magellanic woodpecker, and the black-necked swan are found in other parts of the park. At this National Park you can hike on many trails, explore lakes, and go camping in the mountains.
